Is triple talaq still legally valid in India?

No — instant triple talaq (talaq-e-biddat), where a husband pronounces divorce three times in one sitting with immediate effect, has been declared unconstitutional and void by the Supreme Court, and subsequent legislation has also made the practice of pronouncing it a punishable criminal offence.
This means a purported instant triple talaq pronouncement doesn't actually legally end the marriage — the marriage continues to subsist in the eyes of the law, regardless of the husband's pronouncement, and the wife retains all her rights as a married woman.
Other, more deliberative forms of talaq involving a waiting/reconciliation period remain recognised under Muslim personal law, and Muslim women also have their own well-established routes to seek divorce, including Khula and judicial divorce (faskh) through the courts. If you or someone you know is facing this situation, it would be important to consult a lawyer familiar with Muslim personal law to understand your rights and the appropriate legal steps to take.
