Curative Petition
A final, extraordinary remedy before the Supreme Court, filed after a review petition has been dismissed, to prevent a grave miscarriage of justice.
A curative petition is the last resort available after even a review petition fails, and is entertained only in the rarest of cases — typically where there was a violation of natural justice or a demonstrable bias affecting the earlier decision.
Given how narrow the grounds are, very few curative petitions are actually admitted for a fresh hearing.
