Trespass
The unlawful entry onto, or interference with, another person's property without their permission.
Trespass can give rise to both a civil claim (for an injunction and damages) and, depending on the circumstances and intent, a criminal complaint for criminal trespass, particularly where the entry was made with intent to intimidate, insult, or commit an offence.
A property owner can seek an injunction to stop ongoing or repeated trespass, in addition to compensation for any resulting loss.
