Interim Bail
Short-term, temporary bail granted while a regular or anticipatory bail application is still pending decision.
Interim bail bridges the gap between when a bail application is filed and when the court is ready to decide it fully — useful when urgent relief is needed, for instance to attend to a medical emergency or avoid immediate arrest while the main application is heard.
It is granted for a limited period and is not a final decision on the bail application itself; the court reviews the matter again once the interim period ends or when it takes up the full hearing.
