Completion Certificate
A certificate confirming that construction of a building has been completed in accordance with the sanctioned plan, issued before the occupancy certificate.
The completion certificate certifies that the physical construction work is finished as per approved plans; it is typically a precursor to obtaining the occupancy certificate, which additionally confirms the building is fit for people to actually live or work in.
Developers are legally required to obtain this before handing over possession in most jurisdictions with RERA in force.
