RERA Law
Homebuyer's Association
A collective body of allottees in a real estate project who come together to jointly pursue remedies against a developer for delays or deficiencies.
Where multiple homebuyers in the same project face similar issues — like possession delays — they can approach forums like RERA or the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission collectively, which is often more effective and cost-efficient than pursuing individual claims separately.
Collective action can also carry greater weight in negotiations directly with the developer, given the shared and larger scale of the grievance.
