Labour Court
A specialised forum that adjudicates industrial disputes, including matters relating to wrongful dismissal, discharge, and other employment-related grievances.
Labour Courts hear disputes referred to them by the appropriate government, and their awards, once published, become binding and enforceable, similar to a civil court decree.
Certain more complex or wider industry-level disputes may instead be referred to an Industrial Tribunal, which has somewhat broader jurisdiction.
