Abetment
The offence of instigating, conspiring with, or intentionally helping another person to commit a crime, even without committing the act oneself.
A person can be held criminally liable for abetment if they instigate someone to commit an offence, conspire with others to bring it about, or intentionally assist in its commission — even though they didn't personally carry out the criminal act.
Liability for abetment often turns on proving the accused's specific intention or knowledge that their conduct would help or encourage the offence to happen.
