The apex consumer forum in India, handling the highest-value consumer disputes and appeals from State Commissions.
The NCDRC hears complaints above the highest monetary threshold, appeals against State Commission orders, and has additional supervisory powers over the functioning of State and District Commissions.
Its decisions can be further appealed to the Supreme Court, generally on questions of law rather than a fresh reassessment of facts.
